I just bought a Roomba robotic vacuum cleaner for my dad’s birthday.
This thing is just awesome … you leave it on and it will clean for 2 hours and when the battery is about to die, it will run back to its base (charger) and start its charging cycle.
I think this is by far the best piece of engineering I have seen in probably a decade.

thats NEAT!! but how good is it really? and how much does it cost?
Its pretty good … Its not as good as a canister but it sure does work everyday and when “somebody” cleans your house everyday, it doesn’t matter how powerful they are.
You just don’t see dust anymore. And, it costs about $250!
Nice Toy. Next step: http://www.roombacommunity.com and make it voice activated and load it with ‘cold beverages’ Then just shout ‘COLD BEVERAGE’ and it will come to you. hehehe
