According to a recent study conducted by J.D. Power and associates, Verizon Wireless has the best wireless network in the nation. However, Nextel crept up pretty close to Verizon.
You know what I think? I think that given a little more time, Nextel will become the new king in the wireless industry. Ask why. Because, Nextel has the coolest phones AND the direct connect radio thingy. I mean right now, say people would say well,
‘Hey, Verizon has the best service, so why should I sacrifice coverage for just a cooler phone? I mean the whole point of cellphones is to be able to talk from anywhere right?’
But what IF and a big IF that is right now, what IF nextel was able to catch up to speed with Verizon’s coverage? Heck, I can see a lot of Verizon customers just switching over to Nextel because of the better plans, MUCH better phones AND the ability to radio other users. I guess, we’ll just wait and see. Either Verizon employees could get up off their butts and seriously start thinking about competition or they could just say goodbye to their lovely jobs because Verizon’s boat would be in treacherous waters pretty soon.
