Not a freshman anymore

Sunday, August 31st, 2003

All my peeps say yeah,
I ain’t no freshman no more - YEAH,
Campus is my ‘hood man - yeah,
all my peeps scream HELL YEAH!

I luv it! I will walk on campus day after tomorrow and there will be a very very very fresh batch of chics to fish from. And they don’t like stupid freshmen guys do they? I think I’m drooling right now. But when it comes to being on campus, I’ll be cool and relaxed cuz I KNOW where I’m going and most girls would probably like an escort - yeah?

School

Thursday, August 28th, 2003

How many students are excited for school to start back up? My feelings are mixed … first of all, I’m looking forward to the classes I would skip and the HWs I would miss. Secondly, I’ll meet some new and interesting people and get to hang out with my friends. On the other hand, I’m not really looking forward to sleepless nights and tense moments of intense last minute studying. One thing I am excited about is moving forward in my pursuit of an education but then when college is done, all those people I met would go whooosh. So why can’t life be just summer vacation? Only GOD would know the answer to that.

Thunderstorm

Wednesday, August 27th, 2003

I was on I-95, going back home when the storm hit. I admit it was a little cloudy earlier and I was expecting some rain but the amount of rain that poured down was unbelievable. A lot of people just pulled over to wait for the worst to pass by. I also heard a lot of interesting stories like logs falling down on the roads and no power in certain areas. I think they even closed down some parts of 495 because some power cables fell down. Nature is very powerful.

Pranav got an ‘A’ ?

Tuesday, August 26th, 2003

My professor was nice enough to send me an email (along with the whole class) and I just can’t believe my performance:

“Pranav,

Your adjusted grade on the final exam was 96(very nice). Your project
grade
was 93/100(again, very nice).
You were 2nd out of 40 students, and your course grade is A+.
Congratulations!

Thank you for being in my class.

Apollo 13

Tuesday, August 26th, 2003

Um, I was bored last night just like tonight so I watched this movie called Apollo 13 on TV and it was really amazing how these people in Houston got three men back home from the moon with only enough power to run a coffee machine for 9 hours. I guess my point is that I like Science fiction and that is all I have to say. What do y’all like to watch/read? PS: Ifffffffff you read that is.

Rashi vs. Ritu?

Sunday, August 24th, 2003

You know what they say … a picture is worth a thousand words! Two pictures can definitely tell the whole story:

Rashi

Ritu !!

I have blown up versions of these pictures and the blow-ups are really good quality. Let me know if anybody (ppl from the family hopefully) wants them to um….. I don’t know, maaaaybe fraaaaaame??

Final Exams suck

Monday, August 18th, 2003

I have my BMGT230 final on Wednesday and I really don’t want to study for it. It’s just that when I have something that I have to do, I just keep procrastinating and can’t ever really get anything done. I’ll study in a bit I guess.

I went to King’s dominion yesterday and it was fun. There was this ride … Volcano I think is its name … nobody out of 3 other people bothered to tell me that the ride accelerates from the very beginning. So there I am, relaxed, waiting for the coaster to get on the chain and anticipating the drop when zooooooom and AAAAAAAAAA! Drop zone - the new ride - is not that much fun. I had more fun going up that thing than coming down. The one at 6 flags is more scarier coming down. In any case, it is a good ride.
